Stoic Meditations on Character and the Triumph of Reason

Stoic principles contemplated in Marcus Aurelius’ journals embody a mindful right action philosophy and a work ethic that practices integral harmony of thought, word and deed. Duty in stoicism is about embracing the tough realism of daily living with positive perspective(s), great strength in self-control and conversely releasing all thoughts of control over what is beyond our human capacity to change.

Letting Go of Ego

Impeccably illustrated synopsis of Ryan Holiday’s best selling work. Stoic guidance (understanding the immature ego to be dysfunction itself) taken from ancient philosophers which have as much relevance today.

This writer does believe that a mature and healthy ego (self-confident) exists in the individual whose in alignment with this core wisdom, with nature itself.. These more evolved egos are highly competent, creative and productive, having reduced or eliminated entirely any/all inflated sense of personal importance.

Letting Things Go

The “commitment to stay conscious” is based on knowing that you are the light of consciousness and not the objects It shines upon. The things in themselves are of creation (13.8 billion years!) and have nothing to do with me personally. Only the conscious awareness is really you and not anything you are momentarily aware of in consciousness.
